making popcorn 1999 fitch ram 150

Hello,<br />My 1999 ficht ram 150 hp. is making popping/puffing sound from propeler exhaust at idle. Checked it twice with computer and it does not indicate any problems. Has 834 hours without a problem. 54% of those hours at 1500-1800 r.p.m. Changed plugs, filter, water pump.. Performance seems to be good but has popping sound when flushing motor. Any ideas??

Hi,<br />About the Fitch system for those years 98 and 99 there seem to be alot of failed power heads. I was looking at on yesterday and they said it wouldn't run right. I Did a compresion test and one cylinder was dead. Pulled the head and a big hole in piston. If you need parts I know where you can get some.....desert@adelphia.net
