Looks like a Glastron, but the pictures are pretty small.

You are right! It's a Glastron CVX-16... Can anyone help me with the year? No I did not take these pics.

Ask the guy posting the pics. You found these on the Internet, right?

No, not from the internet... We took those pics. We don't want to "look a gift horse in the mouth" so can't really ask. I want learn more about the boat before we get it.

You're asking for long distance help when you were standing right there taking pictures!

I take it that this will be a free boat to you. Of course you can ask questions. Like does it have current paperwork and what it is.

remember, any boat that is free or near free or "a good deal" should be considered a project boat that will require many thousands of dollars to make it safe.

also, does the boat have the proper paperwork (bill of sale, title, registration, trailer title, etc.). if not, its a yard planter.

Free or not, it's essential that you have current paperwork for the boat, trailer and outboard (some states require paperwork for the outboard in addition to whatever is needed for the boat). Be certain of what your state requires for you to own and register everything, or you may wind up with a boat that can't be used or sold.

Looks like a fun little boat, but if southkogs is correct about the years, it is pretty likely to need some work.
