I was waiting for the photo issue to get resolved before posting this. Not sure how many of you all are in this area but we had unprecedented rainfall over the course of 24 hours on August 18th in the Oxford, Sandy Hook area of Connecticut. Tiny stream turned into massive rivers for 12 hours, destroyed roads and took away people houses. Three people lost their lives.
Thought I'd share some pictures from my marina on Lake Zoar. I was able to get my boat out OK, just because it happened to be in the right place on the dock. I think we lost about four boats. Season ended very early this year, massive cleanup and construction needed for them to open next year. Incredible how fast this level of damage can happen with water.
