i took my carb apart, 10 year old nissian 2stroke 8hp.. the main jet looks kind of tarnished or whiteish.. the other jet looks new.. I know a mechanic cleaned the carb last year before i owned it and now wondering if he might of used something that resulted in corrosion or whatever it could be, and if that in turn narrowed the passageway enough for me to lose power.. i guess i also many have been running some mosture threw the motor as my tank sitting out in the rain might have let some in.. in anyways is there any way to clean this jet now ?
