First, I hope this isn't too far OT. With the help of y'all over the past several months we finally had our maiden voyage in the new to me '86 Regal 19' Sebring Merc Alpha One 140 yesterday and here's a short little recap of that voyage.

Extreme THANK YOU's go out to all here who have helped directly and the too many to count other posters posting their own problems that helped me to read their struggles and solutions. This is such a fantastic learning community and I hope in some tiny way this is some kind of "thank you" for all your help. I *definitely* couldn't have done this by myself, without these forums as this was an entirely new world to me. Although I love the mechanical stuff in my 50 years on this ball my skills have been isolated to motorcycles and automobiles. Now I can add marine mechanic to my ever growing list of "talents" LOL.

Thanks again guys, and here is my family, plus my old man who I am inheriting this boat from. He has taught me a lot over the past half year as well.

So without further ado, here is the video link... https://youtu.be/SJpVlyi1FYM
I apologize if I posted in the wrong forum, but this is where I learnt everything and I figured in some small way it would be a "give back" kind of post here. I hope y'all look at it that way too. ;-)

Have a great day, thank you and God Bless.

Bill in Erie PA.

You have guts, Ski. I would have left the family home for the first time - Just in case. LOL

A great start with the revived Regal. :thumb:
