Mercruiser 7.4l 454 4bbl

Engine: 0D390851
Transom: 0D370469
Drive: 0D403732 -- 7.4L Bravo 88-91

The boat came with stickers attached to the stabilizer bars proclaiming 360 hp which would indicate magnum but I'd like to know for sure.

Thanks for any guidance.

Others may be able to provide better info, but manual list all "magnum'" with cubic inches (so 454, 350, etc). Motors with 7.4, 5.7 etc are not

0D390851 shows this one to be a MERCRUISER W/ PS 7.4L BRAVO Model Number 474B110CS.

Typically if it was a Mag, it would say it in the literature that comes up under the serial number.

I’d be 99% certain it will be a standard 4 barrel 7.4 with a quoted 330hp in its day. Never really understood the difference even between a 5.7 4 barrel (from the 90’s) and a 350 magnum with a 4 barrel. Both had 260hp as far as I know.

Marketing. Can charge more for stickers
Decals and ECMs are just a couple of examples of engine manufacturers setting higher prices for basically the same product, based only on how much that product sold for originally.
