The 140 is a 4 cyl. engine, while your 85 is a 3 cyl. The coil and "power pack" are interchangeable with no issues. The distributor could be modified to work I would think, but have you determined why you have no spark? Could be something simple like bad ground(s), or dirty points if you have the points. Check the part #'s but if the "power pack" is a 6cb2012b or something like that, (don't have my manual in front of me) it'll swap just fine. Check the simple stuff first, if you haven't yet. Points need to be set at .014, all of the ground connections need too be flawless etc. Good luck...
