Magneto wires are not part of the charging system. If it's got a charging system, it will have a generator. It looks like the electric starter, but it's on the right side. It's connected to the flywheel via a toothed belt.<br />The magneto leads are for stopping the engine. If you connect those to the +12v system then an ignition coil will fry.<br />Service manuals are available from this site.
