I bought a OB for $80 suposing running Mercury Mariner 25 hp 2 stroke made in Japan for Mariner International in Wisconsin. Ser. 695019360 this turns out to be model 25 CM 1983. The throttle cable attaches to a plastic holder that is broken that goes on a shaft to the throttle handle, which is similar to Yamaha drawings. Also the steering is stuck, is it ok to torch it, I removed a screw on the side to which I think applies presure or friction to a shim. I don't know who made it or how to go about to get parts.
