have motor running good. have preformed all maint tasks. tuned up carbs etc., my questionis that the rpms of the motor at full throttle are at 4800 and that seems pretty low compared to other engines not really sure what the wot should be and dont know prop size or pitch. it is a michigan brand prop with the numbers (142004) imprinted on the prop and these are the only markings on it. does anyone know the prop size and is this the correct size for this boat knowing that the wot is 4800 rpm and if not what size should i use? thank you for all the help.

WOT should be as close as you can get to 5500. You should drop down at least 2" from what you have in a Michigan prop. Switching to another brand of prop will throw that off due to differences in design. I have no idea what your pitch is.

You can have the pitch changed up to 2" on an aluminum prop, however, it would not be cost effective unless the prop is in near perfect condition. Most people would keep it as a spare and just buy a new one in the correct pitch.
