Hello I have a 1995 25hp tohatsu that had a bad bevel "b"gear .After changing it when I start motor and leave it in neutral and increase rpms it jumps into reverse lower rmps and goes back to neutral.any one have advise.thank you

I'm not being flippant, but, take it back apart and this time put it back together correctly. You made a mistake in the assembly this time around.

Yep. Verify the assembly sequence of the push rod, spring holder, shims, etc.
