Some time ago I ask this forum if anyone new anything about a Lund Pontoon. At the time I was waiting to take possession of the boat (it was stored in a warehouse and I could get to it). Well I finally have the boat and as promised way back then - here are a few pictures:
I have new vinyl on the way to start the re-upholstery project:
I've been going through the motor slowly - it hasn't run since 2002 but only had less than 50 hours on it total:
There are seats at each corner identical to the helm seat - I just have them off right now (still winter here):
I am still trying to learn how many were made - they were only produced in 1993 & 94. So far Lund has either been unwilling to tell me or truly can't figure it out. I do have a copy of a flyer from then which shows both the "Angler" series which is what I have and the "Explorer" which was their more traditional model.
I will post more pictures after I complete the upholstery and take the maiden voyage.
The upholstery is going to take longer than I thought because I am going to have to remove the metal sheeting on the bottom side to access the nuts holding down the furniture.
If any one knows of another Lund Pontoon please let me know. Thanks Jon
