I just purchased a 1994 Lund pontoon. Now I find they are a little rare because I haven't been able to find another on the internet or any information about them. If some one out there has one or has information about them please let me know. I am fixing this one up and would at least enjoy a picture of the original boats. They apparently were only made in 1994 and 1995. Thanks - Jon

Wow. I didn't know Lund ever made a toon. If it's like everything else they turn out I'm sure it's fine since barges aren't particularly complex vessels. Sorry I can't be of any help in terms of info, but I'd love to see some pics.

Re: Lund pontoon

I will post more pictures later since I am still waiting for the previous owner to move everything in the storage barn so I can get the boat out. The one picture I do have is from the craigslist ad. It is a fishing layout and was fairly sparce on furniture. Seems to be solidly built though. I have fixed a few boats up before and built a drift boat so this one shouldn't be too tough. Should be a lot of fun though (with the grand kids) - like you though I have a whitewater raft for the real fun.

I haven't gotten the raft wet yet. I bought it sight unseen from an outfitter in Oregon for $400 plus freight. Got it in a couple weeks ago and it's been taunting me ever since. I'm still working on outfitting it with frame, oars, etc. but I think it will be a great little rig for me. I'm a beer and gear float kinda guy. We have class V water when we get enough rain, but I leave that to the kayakers.;) Good luck on the Lund.

Mine is a 13 ft. Aire Super Puma with a NRS frame. Since I am old we don't do anything more than class four but it definitely gets us into some great fishing water that I can't get to with the drift boat.

Re: Lund pontoon

I'm jealous. Those Aires look like top quality. I can get a basic three bay frame with oar towers from Rowframe, so that's probably what I'll end up doing. The guy has a good rep and I've enjoyed talking with him about it. Once I take my lumps and learn what works for me I'll upgrade the rubber and keep the other stuff. I'm really looking forward to getting it all put together.
