Lunch!

Last night a buddy dropped by and gave us some venison.

My wife put some in the crock pot this morning. She turned up her nose at the gamey smell, so she only prepared enough for the boy and myself.

But when it was ready to eat, she bravely tasted a sample... and immediately regretted not making enough for herself! :lol:

So we did share a bit and she said that next time she'll be sure to have enough for everyone! :hungry:

I grabbed a pic of the steaming roast with some potatoes.

I had leftover venison steak for lunch ... on the run ... as I prepped supper for about 125 people. Spaghetti and meatballs with red sauce and/or alfredo sauce. I am still tired!
