What specific parts are you looking for ? Except for the hull , metal railings and tower everything else is outsourced. I own a 1996 32 Open so if you have any questions fire away. This is a great site for general info on boats and specific info on engines etc. . My go to source for Luhrs only info is on Facebook , Luhrs Owners Group

Right now I am in desperate need of a wiring diagram. Especially of the ignition system. It would be great if I could find a services manual but no luck so far. Right now I have a no start situation. Turns over but no spark. I am going to try to use the casting numbers off of the back off the engine block to at least help me ID the the engine that is in there but I dont know if that is going to get me very far. All I know right now is it is a 1972 Luhrs. About 22 feet long.

I would post your issues in the appropriate engine forum on this site. The mfg , in this case ,really has nothing to do with your driveline. I would imagine the only wires that come off the engine and go somewhere besides back to the engine are the ignition wires. And that is probably a total of two wires . A engine of that vintage is going to be as basic as it gets. Is it a I/O ? If so you could have a bad neutral.safery switch which kills the juice. If you still have points ,they could be shot. Even if you has a wiring diagram it wouldn't help with your no spark on a 72 block.

It has a HEI without a vacuum advance and the ignition switch is frozen solid. It is a inboard no stern drive. I did remove the N safety switch from the transmission. I need to bypass the ignition switch and send 12V right to the coil to test the system right now. i want to do this by running a wire from battery straight to coil.

@scatgo WHAT driveline?

More pix w no info doesnt help, as Mr88 noted, its probably not Luhrs problem, its w the engine. And more help will be found in a motor forum

Did you buy the boat with an in-op motor?

Casting number won't help. Can you narrow it down to GM or Ford?

Is there a plate above the starter with the serial number? Any words on the flame arrestor?

Yes. got it cheap but the owner of the marina wants it gone ASAP. Looks like it is a GM 454. The distributor system looks like a GM EST. AKA HEI. Looks a lot like a Thunder bolt distributor. All i need to know is what trminals on the coil need 12v and or ground. No number plate or flame arrester.
