Man you guys got it made, first I see your having a Starcraft reunion then while looking for Starcraft decals on ebay I see not one but two Starcrafts on trailers with running engines for less than $700.I tell you what a great deal, my boat had no motor or trailer and cost more. Finally got it in the lake for a little rip and came across a recently restored small Starcraft at a lake in Haliburton,so they is two of us up here.Man if knew you were giving away boats I head down for the reunion and pick one up down there! All the best, God bless

LOL Ux I was up to 4 this summer . I managed to sell one of them only one Starcraft in the bunch so its a keeper . I am still on the hunt for a 21-22' Holiday or Super Sport and I will be happy . I have been praying for summer for weeks :D I own an HVAC company and am running out of boat money with no AC units breaking we have been steady in the 70's here and thats not even hot enough to turn the AC on much less break it . Like I said once we settle on a location you are welcome to join us even without your boat we'll make room for you on one of ours :D. We want to see yours though :D.

We have a lot of Starcrafts and you have FREE medical :D

When I use to have my 30 footer I would run all the time to Canada, you have the best ports anywhere hands down !

ux, where in ontario are you? if you are southeastern ontario near cornwall then you are not too far from me, and you could easily make it to tinstock.

All I have done is the Haliburton lakes, one great 5 lake chain staring in Haliburton.First year man I need everything, safety kit, ropes, vests, the whole kit .Do the States require a Operators license? Sounds like you guys got a great time ahead, enjoy.

I would and have run 12' boats on Lake Ontario. Just respect the water and know the forecast. The Great Lakes can kick it's heels when it wants to.
The ocean doesn't get that chop for the most part. I would invest in a VHF radio, next to life jackets and a fire extinguisher the most important on the the lake. Anchor with 150' of rope also.

Re: Lucky Americans !

Thanks sounds like good advice, angling now for a bigger motor to replace { don,t laugh my 25 hp Merc} . Got something bigger in the works, guess you guys have lot,s of tv shows up here I was watching Power Boat and thought it would be great some day next year to to put in to Lake Ontario. And of the way those tin boats ride in the chop,we need our free meds.lol
O well got to save something for next year, really surprising when you start watching how many of the old boats survived

Yes the old ones keep resurfacing. Back in the 70's I had a 18' Lyman Islander wood inboard I should have kept . I miss the wood boats but not the work

Nothing rides as nice as wood. I always said throw a piece of fiberglass in the water and it sinks throw steel in and it sinks throw aluminum in & it sinks but wood floats !
