Hey everyone,

What is the best way to lubricate the rollers on my trailer? I have a Karavan trailer with an 18' glass boat. Some of them dont roll very well. thanks in advance for the recommendations.

with the boat off, try to get some oil in there. when they stop rolling is not the time to worry about maintainance. get the oil in there and roll them around. unless you are using stainless shafts they rust.

Why do some rollers have reg. steel bearing sleeves inside?
Pretty stupid.

Thanks for the replies. What type of oil is recommeded for the rollers? Is there anything specific that works well for your trailer?

it's got to be thin to get in there and work.. might even try wd 40 with the straw to free them up, then something like 3 in 1. and lube them occasionally.
