I want to lube the drive unit on a 73 Mercruiser 165hp. The manual calls for lubricating the pivot and hinge pins with Quicksilver Anti-Corrosion Grease C-92-45134A1 and the steering cable with Quicksilver Multipurpose Lubricant C-92-49588.
Is there an equivalent grease/lubricant I can get at Walmart for these areas?
For greasing my car chassis I always use Mobil1 grease. Use it for wheel bearings too. Can I use that in place of either of the Quicksilver stuff?
