ok, bought this graph 2 years ago and have nothing but problems, lowrance replaced the unit once and it works ok except while running boat at cruise or when in deep water. it will hardly show bottom. i have set sensitivity as high as possible. i'm thinking a transducer problem???

More details of what you see on the screen would help. Does the screen turn all black? When problem happens are you useing the 50khz transducer or the 200 khz and how deep of water are you in.<br /><br />Transducer needs to point straight down or maybe a tiny bit foward but not to either side. Also at least 1/2 of the transducer must be below the hull. In should not be mounted near the chims or in line with anything on the boat that will make air bubbles. 12 inches to starboard of the engine best starting postion on most boats.
