Recently my lowrance lms-350a fish finder/gps unit screen went blank. The unit appear to be still working as the unit gave off a funny kind of beep , but it had no sceen display except when first turning the unit on it had a very faint sceen display that soon went completely blank. I call the lowrance tech number and discribed the problem . The person that I talked with told me it sounded like there was a problem with my lcd sceen and that Lowrance no longer serviced or had parts for this older unit . Last week a friend loaned me the screen part (head) of his lowrance lms-350a so that I would have a fish finder/gps to use on my vacation. On the manual his of unit, he had hand written notes that he used . One of the notes described my very problem with the fix. When I got home I did what the note said and to my great pleasure my unit came back on with a crystal display. Here's the fix. With the unit off ,Hold in the upper left key (sen) while at the same time pressing the " on " key , release the (sen) key - press the (clr key) - turn " off ". I hope others can use this information.
