Bought a boat and this sonar came with it. Tried a reset, uploaded the latest software version, and played with all of the settings to no avail. The down scan is a snowy haze as well. The transducer is the 3 in 1, as shown on the tag of the transducer cord, and it is also showing as a 3 in 1 under the settings/installation, and It is "grayed out," as in you can't change the transducer type from a drop down tab. You can see the transducer location in boat pic. Would those little rear pontoons be causing an interference somehow? Out of the water, I can can hear the transducer clicking with ear close to it. The two screen pictures are with the boat just floating with motor off. Is there any way to test a transducer for being faulty? TIA for any suggestions.

Transducers don’t “click”.
If you can hear it clicking, the transducer is bad, and or on the way out.

I didn't know they ever made a noise until I was informed recently that they do, and could hear it up close. It's a faint pulsing tick when up close. I'm confused now. lol. I am though gonna try a hard reset when I'm on the water and see if anything changes. I have no info saved on the machine, so it won't hurt to give it a run.
