just moved my trandsucer to the other side of my pontoon boat hadto put a extension on my trandsuer got power to the unit how can i tell if i got everything right with the boat out of the water will it show anything thanks for any help i get

It should show a screen,but I doubt you'll see any fish on it.
Only way to test transducer is ,put it in the water,at least far as I know.
You may hear the transduce clicking when out of the water,a lot of disagrements on this fourm as to whether or not the transducer makes a noise you can hear or not.I hear mine out of the water,I just don't leave it on too long.

I should read the ground out of the water. Not an accurate read but it should show something.
