Bought a Lowrance elite 4 for my 19 ft Wellcraft and want to mount the transducer inside of the hull like the old Humminbird skimmer that worked great but was also flat on the bottom where the Elite 4 transducer is rounded. Have any of you guys tried this skimmer transducer inside the hull with any luck or am I going to have to fork out another 80 or 90 bucks for flat bottom transducer to make this work right ?
