I have a stratos boat, it has a small dash mounted depth finder. The depth finder is giving strange readings. When I first turn it on the reading is quite accurate but within a minute or so the readings are all over the place. then it just starts blinking a number it is stuck on. I can turn off the unit and back on and the unit works fine for another minute or so and then the same thing happens again. This is the first time this depth finder has done this. I really need to be able to trust this thing. any ideas ?? please help
