Think we need to see some pictures of what you got before we could really say what would be the best approach... that isnt a lot of information to go on...
Type of seat, type of hull (flat, V, Tri), type of interior configuration (bowrider, CC, SC, benches?) , etc.
What brackets are you referring to?
Being a 14ft, sometimes adding a casting deck makes the boat very unstable while standing up there... so some pictures would help!
