I am working on an older merc outboard lower unit replacing seals. Everything is frozen together <br /> ,(( what propeler to shaft?? ))<br />you can try to bath in penetrating oil 2 days use a five galon can , set-up your motor lower unit in oil , we can by w40 oil in one galon can.or you can use diesel fuel<br />or stove oil, dont use heat , can burn seals,after 48 hrs in oil , dont esitate <br />use a hard-wood or brass hamer hit on propeler<br />if dont come loos you have to cut propeler<br /> good lock
