Lower unit upper plug won't budge

Today, after trying over and over I could not get my lower unit vent plug removed. So, wanting to fish the next day I simply shot air into the lower unit case so that the gear oil would come out of the fill hole faster. After all was drained I then pumped .80 quarts (suggested amount) of yamalube into the fill hole without the vent being opened. This is a 2018 Yamaha sho 115. Here's is why I'm hear, is this going to hurt anything that I didn't open the vent hole? Should I be worried that I may have too much gear oil in the lower unit? Should I drain and leave it alone until I get it done correctly?

If you drained and refilled oil as mentioned then you should be good to go.....maybe try an impact driver with the correct width and thickness screwdriver blade to remove that vent plug for future service.
