Hello to all, and thanks in adavance for ANY advice given. I have a 1989 Force 125, and while getting it ready to run, I discovered a bad "shift shaft seal". To make a long story short, I ordered the lower unit seal kit. Unfortunately, no "bellows" type seal. I looked a little closer at the prints and it seems that the bellows was replaced by a standard shift seal. (sorry, trying to keep it short...) Anyway, can I just machine out the old bellows type seal to fit a standard seal? I know its ludricous, but I'm trying to save a little money, and didn't want to spend another 80 dollars on a new top plate. Any ideas? Again, thanks in advance.....<br /><br />Mike
