Lower Unit Size

I am assuming the following is a short shaft....Would that be correct?

Lower Unit Housing Part No. 1623-4749
Mercury Outboard Serial Number: 3426951
Oil has been drained (Is clean, Not murky)
No cracks in casing
15 Teeth on Prop Shaft
8 Teeth on Drive Shaft
Drive Shaft extends 16? above water Pump Housing

You should be able to tell by serial group. A Merc Dealer can tell you. Also, If you look up the model and serial number at www.dougrussell.com, you should be able to figure it out. I would expect the midsections and water tubes are different lengths.
