Lower unit seals, how to get them out.

Still working on the 1979 15 HP attempting to install new seals on the lower unit behind the prop.
I took the prop off, removed the two bolts on the housing but cannot get the housing to come out. Is there somthing else holding it besides the two bolts I took out? Do not want to put too much pressure on it before posting this question.

Best thing to do is check out the local library, and see if they have a manual on your motor. OEM manuals can be found on ebay also. The job you are undertaking is difficult, and you may ruin some parts without proper guidance.

Heres how I got them out.

1. Ordered parts off of Iboats.com
2. Took lower unit off.
3. Took lower unit and parts to local engine shop(not big boat store/shop).
4. Picked up when done.

I'm getting to the age, where sometimes I will pay the $$$ in exchange for my sanity
