I have a 35hp lower unit I am trying to take apart. I have removed the 2 inside screws and I am trying to pull the bearing housing out that goes around the prop shaft I have used numerous bearing and steering wheel pullers and cant seem to break it free. the procedures I have used are a wheel puller using 2 " J " bolts because there is a bolt broke off in the threaded hole on the bearing housing. is there anything I can use to help break it free? I think the housing has fused to the case. thanks

Have you tried to heat it up a little?

I am having the same problem with a 85hp johnson. I tries to heat it up, but didn't help. I as well broke off a bolt in it, but was able to remove it with an easy out. I will keep you updated on what i did to get this one out...
