lower unit removal

ii have an 850 mercury that i need to remove the lower unit, How do you remove the trim tab to get to the bolt under it?

I need to purchase a used lower unit for a 1973 mercury 85hp lower unit. any help would be appreciated

I have a 1978 800, (20" shaft), with the more modern more agressive angle skeg LU with stainless steel drive shaft n' pedo pick up that would bolt right up ta yers, (same gear ratio as well).
