I have 1 1958 evinrude lower unit that i just replaced water pump, and all lower unit sills on. I put it in a bucket cranked nit ran good and was pumping water fine, so ishut it off and when i removed the bucket i notice a small wheep hole of some sort on one side of the lower unit.
My question is what is the purpose of the hole and should the water that is coming out of it be milky looking?
