Lower unit problems

I have a 2007 yamaha 25 hp outboard, and when I start off it starts slipping when under full power. When I power it down it doesn't slip. When I got it loaded on trailer I put it in gear I could turn it by hand in forward or reverse. Does anyone have an answer for this?

Check for a spun hub.

sounds like the hub spun on the prop.
while its in gear,stop lanyard pulled.
hold the flywheel and turn the prop while carefully looking at the prop nut.
if the prop turns and the nut does not its definatly a spun hub.
