lower unit problem

I think I have a stringer???? 1985 Galaxie 3.8L OMC...... I have a tilt and trim on the gear shifter and that works the motor up and down. I have another switch above the key that is labeled tilt and trim that works the lower unit. I lowered the lower unit and now it will not go up? It does not click or make any noise. The selco book shows a 50 amp fuse but I am can not find it.

Port side There is 2 fuse holders held together with spring clips, they are larger then the esa plugs that have spring clips also.
Remove battery cables neg side first before taking the fuse holders apart.
Radio shack and most auto stores carry the fuse.
