Lower Unit Lubricant Weight

Is 80W90 the correct lower unit lubricant for a 1973 Mercury 20hp? If not, what is recommended?<br /><br />Thanks

TarHeel,<br />I don't know what the weight is but the "correct" L/U lube for that engine is Quicksilver Premium Gearlube.Ya can't go wrong with tha factory stuff.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
