lower unit lube

Have 2003 ELPTO 50 hp. Can I use High Performance Gear Lube + even though it says for 75 hp and above? Or should i use the Premium Gear lube?

I think the limitation just indicates that the former has additional additives/processing for increased surface tension under higher peak loading.
