Lower unit leaking fluid!

I have an early 90's Mercury 25horse Merc outboard.<br /><br />This winter it was stored off the boat, on the floor. I noticed a blue-ish fluid slowly dripping out of the lower unit near the prop.<br /><br />Is this lower unit grease? What do I do? Can I run it?<br /><br />Thanks in advance!

The only sure way to know is to drain the lower unit and have it pressure tested. Should hold 13-15 p.s.i. for 15 minutes, turning driveshaft periodically in gear. Blue/green is the color of Merc hp lower unit oil. Take off you r prop and check for fishing line too. If there, defifinely get pressure checked.
