Lower unit interchange per Don S charts

Got an 85 gen one with a bad lower. I have other similiar year lowers laying around. If I am reading these charts right I can interchange lowers given that the are all alpha one gen one. It doesn't matter wether they came off a 4cyl 6cyl or 8cyl.

Is this correct?

Yep. The ratio is set in the upper.
