Lower unit for a 56 Evinrude 15?

Does anybody have one? Preferably one not pitted.. I have decided I want to polish it. Mine is severely pitted and has a few other issues.. Have any of you done this? Pointers?

You might try looking in the "Top Secret File" sticky at the top of the page, there is a list of salvage yards there, maybe one of them can help you out.

When all the paint was removed and I started to get a nice shine I noticed lots of little holes. I figure old age or a poor casting.
