Lower Unit Compatable

Hello I have a 1979 Chrysler 100 H.P. outboard motor MODEL # 1007 H9. The Lower Unit is thrashed, but the top end is fine. Being small on funds, is there another Mfg., or another Chrysler<br />Model # that I could swap with this lower end with no problem? Thanks for any help.

Hello Tom<br /> "With no problems" Don't we wish. To answer the question, no. Have you disassembled the lower unit you have? How bad is it thrashed? Are you sure its beyond repair? If so you'll have to scrounge up another Chrysler L/U that will fit.

Have you checked ebay? I know that this afternoon there was a 70 and above LU up for bids. No one had bid on it yet. Just go to chrysler outboard.
