Re: lower puddle valve on 1968 chrysler 70hp
On the starboard side of your engine, you will see a throttle linkage T . take that off. underneath you will see 2 bolt upper and 2 countersunkscrews lower. Remove them . the puddle valve assy should come right off. This is located just forward of the fuel pump assy. Take the whole thing and soak it in gasoline overnight. Seeing that they are 1/4 bolts, torque to 125. If you have an air compressor, blow everything out and reassemble./
