Lower idle

I have a 1979 Evin 55hp which I think is idling to fast. What is the proper way of ibling it down a bit? I't doesn't cluck or bang when I put it in gear, but I think the idle can come down some. Also is runs very good but when it is in neautrel it has a slight miss about every 20 seconds,for just a slit second.It does not miss or hesitate when running in gear. When it does miss for a second the eng. coughs out a little exaust fume.Thanks Magoo

Dowload/save that file. Could simply need an adjustment to the mixture screw or the idle speed screw:

thanks Saumon I'll take a look. I'm not good with engines, but I might give it a whirl.
