Can anybody direct me as to where I could go to get new seals for my lower unit. I am in Ontario Canada, my motor is a 1969 johnson 55hp, electric shift,,,I know problems waiting to happen. Are these seals even available?<br /><br />Thanks
Hi juice....seals are still available from any John/Rude dealer. O-rings too. Or, check the link below to iboats parts. Part number for your 55's seal kit is 18-2690. Got everything you need.
pull the numbers off your motor any dealer around can get them but they need the numbers like serial at least model you might want to surf like obj said could be cheaper even with shipping,customs,gray hair everthing
