Lower Compression in 1 Cylinder??? Mercruiser 3.0

I just had my Mercruiser 3.0 worked on.<br />They did a compression test and said on cylinder is lower than the other<br /><br />1=190<br />2=170<br />3=190<br />4=190<br /><br />They said not too worry and watch it to see if it gets worse.<br /><br />Should I be concerned? The Boat is still under warranty.<br /><br />Can anyone please advise if this is a big problem?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Frank

under warranty says it all if theare all not at 190 wait till the end of the season and get it fixed this way you still get to enjoy your boat but i would get it fixed it will only get worse a few years down the road

Get a copy of the shop manual to see the specs. That way you'll have something to point to if you need to complain.
