Fished lower Beverly lake four days this past week. Just my luck that a major cold front blew in the day we got there, providing high winds and cold temps. The smallmouth we were after had a good case of Lockjaw. But we did find a pattern on the LM. The weather pushed them to deep flats. We ended up slaying a ton of good LM on drop shot rigs on the flats 20 deep. If we found a submerged rock pile here and there on the flats that was a bonus, holding multiple fish. Picked up a few smallmouth and add a few pike in the mix. All in all a good trip considering the weather. I normally don't have to fish in my goose hunting clothes till mid November. They got a work out early this year.

Spent many summers on that lake as a kid. Good fishin' back then, nice to hear it's still a good hole. Someday I'll get back there and "NO" I ain't tellin' where they really biggun's hide! ;-)

Glad ya had a good trip Flathead, other than the weather.

Cheers.

Thanks, I think we may have found one or two of your honey holes. Still a lot of really nice fish in the lake. The place is loaded with text book bass structure.
