Lowe line boat

Bought the boat. Don't know much about it. Have not brought it home. Motor is 1973.

Not sure on the boat. Anybody familiar with the year?

A very rare boat named the Compost Special. Judging by the tree growing through the trailer and hull and the sticker (1-10), it's been sitting 11 or more years. All you have is a hull. The tires aren't safe to tow and the bearings are probably shot.

Pull it out of the woods, clean it up and take new photos to give us half a chance to help you ID her. We aren't miracle workers.

Outboard looks like an early 70s Evinrude. Taking a guess at 9.5 based on the boat size.

The motor I have already identified. The lowe boat I havent. I've bought new tires and will pull it home tomorrow. I was going to put a platform in the boat but with the swivel seats I may not. Storage is the main concern...

I don't need the rear motor but will try and get it running. The boats for a small lake...

that is not a HIN, that is a serial number

the boat is late 60's or early 70's

the plastic thru-hulls and all the other stuff was added to the boat pry prior owners.

if you do not have proper paperwork such as a title or signed registration card and a bill of sale, you have a nice yard planter. it already had a tree

Now go look at 1977 brochures and figure out the model based on length.

Edit: looks like 1977 was missing, compare to 1976 & 78 brochures. Not likely just a single production year.
