Low speed orifice problems

So I went and did it. I have a 78 johnson 55hp with an idling problem. The first couple times I've cleaned the carbs I left the low speed orifice alone because I could tell they were already stripped. Today I decided to get them out because it just won't idie right.
The first one came out but the second was completely stripped flat. I've got it pretty well screwed now.
Does anyone know a tap size to try and re-tap the threads. Or any other options.

I did try an easy out but I basically have a hole there with brass filling the threads.

Looking for any suggestions.

Get a new jet and figure out the thread size. Then get a tap and re- drill it and tap it.

You can try a dental pic and carefully get the brass out of the threads. You need to try to save the threads because if you drill it and and the hole gets bigger you will have a problem trying to fit the orifice in.

What I meant was to drill and tap it to the ORGINIAL THREAD SIZE .

Thanks guys. I got it this morning. I found online a listing of all of johnson orifice sizes and the corresponding tap sizes. It was an 8-32. I was really worried about it but it was pretty simple. I was able to run a #29 drill bit thru very slowly and it pushed what was left of the brass out. Then I took the screw out of the other carb and tried it. All good. Now I just need to wait for the new ones to come in.

Thanks again.
