about ten yrs ago at a boat launch on the columbia,i was helping load my friends 18ft american jet after a great day of skiiing\tubing when we heard someone in a hoarse voice asking for help. we turned around toward the launch to see what was going on. here comes 16 to 17 ft runabout with just the windshield protruding out of the water, were like holy sh@$! we ran over to intercept him at the dock when i noticed 2 kids and about ten empty beer cans floating inside the boat and in his drunken mumble said something about hitting a log or something. well we got the kids out and left im sure that with a sunken boat blocking the launch he had alot of explaining to do to the sheriff.i hope next time he at least leaves his kids at home.
