I'm have a conundrum here... i have a 92 Johnson 200 gt that i did a carb job to. everything went back together loike it should. i took it out on the lake to adjust the carbss and that seemed fine. it ran so good for a a couple of runs up and down the lake. at the time i left off the cover so we could adjust it. once that was done all seemed fine. we put the cover on the carberators and went on about our day. when i go home i decided to check out and make sure everything was ok and come to find out two of the bottom brass screw for the low speed jets had been missing. After a few days i tried to look around and figure out where the screw might have gone. only thing i could figure out is that they got sucked into the engine. I found one inside the carb just past the butterfly valve. i'm replacing that one. I thought i'd find the other one in the same place...but it's just not there.... The question is do i need to take it apart to find the other screw..... i really dont know what to do?

Help!!!!!

Hopefully the missing screw is just past the throttle butterfly and on the carburetor side of the leaf valve (reed box).

If not, since you've already run the engine... pray that you got lucky and it simply blew out the exhaust port.

Next time, count your screws. :)
